Omurice Recipe (Omelet Rice)

Omelet Rice or much better known Omurice has become popular since it is seen in the Korean drama hit "Rooftop Prince". Since I just finished watching the TV drama & make some gifs, I decided to make post on how to make an omurice.

So I research the recipe on how to make an omurice so here it is:

Ingredients – 2 servings

• 1/2 (50 g) carrot
• 1/2 (80 g) onion
• 1/3 (40 g) red capsicum
• 80 g smoked ham
• 100 g crab stick
• 3 tbsp tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
• 4 eggs
• A pinch of salt
• 2 cups steamed rice
• Some rice bran oil
• Some tomato sauce

Method

-Stir frying rice (You will need a wok)

1. Dice carrot, onion, red capsicums, ham and crab stick. 

2. Mix the tomato sauce (3 tbsp) and worcestershire sauce in a bowl.

3. Pre heat the wok on high heat for 10 seconds and add some oil.

4. Add all diced ingredients and saute for 1 minute.

5.Reduce the heat to half.
6. Add the steamed rice and the mixed sauce. Mix them well for 30 seconds.

7. Stop the heat.

-Omelet

1. Beat two eggs in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.
2. Heat a frying pan and add some oil. Pour the egg in the frying pan.

1. Quickly spread the egg and make a thin, large, and round omelet.
2. Repeat step 1 to 4 for the rest of the eggs.

The Naked Kitchen

 I decided to watch this because it starred Ju Ji Hoon & Shi Min Ah, two of my favorite Korean actor & actress.

I love the movie although I wish the ending was different, I wish Ahn Mo-rae (Shi Min Ah) chose Park Du-re (Ju Ji Hoon).

So in this movie Ahn Mo-rae is living a happy life with her childhood friend & husband Hang Sang-in. Although  he is her husband he calls Sang-in "hyeong" a korean word which means brother. One day Mo-rae decided to go to a museum where his husband wanted to go, since it's his husband's birthday. When she gets there the museum was closed but she sneaks in and she met a guy. When they hear that the owner was coming they hid and they had sex. Yes they had sex!. 

Later on that night, she & her husband had dinner. Sang-in told him that he resigned to his job decided to have a restaurant, something that he dreams since then and there's a man coming from France that will help him to build his restaurant. Mo-rae confessed to her husband that she had sex with a guy that she didn't know anything about even his name or address. Sang-in of course get mad and walk away and they headed home. When they got home there's the man that Sang-in was talking about and it was revealed to be the guy that Mo-rae had sex. 

Mo-rae wanted to tell her husband about it but Sang-in tell her to just forget about it and pretend that it didn't happened. At first awkwardness follows Mo-rae and Park Du-re but since Sang-in ask his wife to be more friendly towards Park Du-re the awkwardness vanishes. 

Later on temptations surrounds Mo-rae and Park Du-re and since Park Du-re is I think kinda wild, he keeps on giving "temptations" to Mo-rae. Mo-rae on the other hand get's confius with his feelings to his husband and Park Du-re. 

Sang-in notices the closeness of the two and started to get jealous. Sang-in discovers the pictures of Mo-rae taken by Park Du-re in the Museum and realize that Park Du-re was the man Mo-rae was talking about. He also discover's a picture of Park Du-re and Mo-rae from a photobooth where Park Du-re was kissing Mo-rae. 

Park Du-re and Sang-in had a fight and park Du-re confessed that she like Mo-rae and can't do anything about it. Sang-in comes home and offer Mo-rae that he is willing to let her go but Mo-rae told them that she can choose but she didn't want to and likes the both of them. Later on Sang-in pass the test that will allow him to start a restaurant. When they got home, Mo-rae wasn't there, only a letter that says the she is gone. Park Du-re head back to France and Sang-in continues with his dreams to start a restaurant and divorce Mo-rae.

Sometime later Sang-in asks Mo-rae who is already pregnant, to marry her again and said that he will    

asks Park Du-re to come back and live with  them  again. 

There that's the ending the three of them live happily ever after. sick right? I think it sick!

 Mo-rae is obviously more in love to Park Du-re. I thinks she just loves Sang-in because, he's always there for her since they were young. 

Even though I don't like the ending it doesn't mean I don't like the movie. I love the movie.

Ju Ji Hoon is so sexy and charismatic. :p

Rooftop Prince

So I just finished watching Rooftop Prince and I can say that it was a great one. I love the plot and the twist and the ending. 

The story was all about Crowned Prince Lee Gak investigating the murder of her beloved Crowned Princess Hwa-yong with his three entourage, Song Man-bo,  U Yong-sool ,  Do Chi-san. They were chase through the woods by bandits and then they later landed on the house of Pak Ha on the year 2012.  Realizing that they've time travel through the year 2012, they've decided to stay in the rooftop house and live with Pak Ha. The four struggle to live and adjust in the modern life of 2012. 

One day, Prince Lee Gak saw a splitting image of her beloved Crowned Princess, who is Se-Na (Step sister of Pak Ha). When they were little, Se-Na abandoned Pak Ha in a truck and pretended that she didn't hear her scream, Later on the truck where Pak Ha was, got into an accident making her forget what happened until now. The Prince later discovers her reincarnation,  Tae Yong. Tae Yong was killed by his cousin Tae mu in the US and later pretended that he didn't meet Tae Yong in the United States. Prince Lee Gak decided to pretend to be Tae Yong to get Se-Na's affection, who is apparently working in Tae Yong's grand mother. 

Tae Mu believing that the real Tae Yong is dead, did everything to reveal the Prince Lee Gak. Pak Ha who started to fall in love with the Prince struggle to hide her feelings because she knows the real intention and purpose of Prince Lee Gak. 

I will stop here now..because it is better to watch it than read my blog about it :p

Rooftop Prince will be aired on ABS-CBN Channel 2, I think it will replace Sunkyunwang Scandal so you can also watch it there, although I don't think it's as good.

Shutter

American Version

So last night me and my sister decided to watch Shutter the American version of it. Since we so its commercial on channel 7 last friday, we got curious about the movie since we already saw the Thai version of it or I say the original version of it. 
The first part was okay I thought it's going to be as scarier or at least half of the original but I was wrong!.
As the movie goes on it gets boring and boring and I was just like really? it didn't even scared a bit. The hotel scene was supposed to be the scariest scene of all, you know the ladder scene? when Natre chases Tun.

The American version copies most of the main scenes of the original and then changes few details and settings, for example instead of being schoolmates or classmates like Natre and Tun, they change it and make Megumi and Ben to be officemates. The acting was also poor and Megumi isn't even scary in the first place. 

Thai / Original Version

 They change the ending a little, like when the Tun (in Thai film) is supposed to  fall or jump off the building, Ben (American film) instead electrocute himself.  I mean really? He electrocute himself to get rid off the ghost on his shoulders? first of all it's a ghost!.

It's hard for me to watch it's american version since I already saw the original one because the original one was so scary and brilliant.

I guess when you make an American version or remake of some  Asian Horror Movies it became less scarier like 50% less scarier.
